Grass Fed Beef

You will find we are very  competitively priced for our naturally raised grass fed beef. We are a  small family farm operation and do not have unlimited supplies to sell  like some commercial type farms. We absolutely promise that all our  grass fed beef is naturally raised from our Aberdeen Angus Cattle right here on  our land and is second to none in farm raised natural quality!

We sell our grass fed beef USDA  inspected, custom cut to order, vacuum packed and frozen. Grass fed beef  can be purchased by the quarter, side, split side or whole. We do at  times have special smaller packages available. We are a small family run  operation and only have limited quanities so please contact us for  availability.

Why eat grass fed beef?

It  used to be that the big question when it came to a good hamburger was:  “How would you like it? Well done, medium or rare?”  But today that  simple question has some very complex answers. Do you want organic meat?  Or meat that is sustainably farmed? Do you want meat that comes from  grain-fed cattle or pasture raised cattle? Do you want it to come from a  large farming conglomerate or a local family run farm?

Grass  fed beef offers multiple benefits over the grain fed beef that is sold  in most super markets today. Just a few of those benefits are listed  below:

  • It is better for you: The meat  from pasture-raised animals is tastier and more nutritious. In addition  to being lower in calories and total fat, pasture-raised products have  higher levels of vitamins, and a healthier balance of omega-3 and  omega-6 fats.
  • It is better for the cows:  Pasture-raised animals are free to roam in their natural environment,  eating the nutritious grasses that they have adapted to digest.
  • It is better for the environment:  Factory farming methods lead to much higher levels of air, land, and  water pollution compared to pasture-based, sustainable farming.  Confining animals to large concentrated feed lots increased their need  for hormones, antibiotics, and other drugs.
  • It is better for your community:  When you purchase your meat form a local farmer, more of your money  stays within your community. You are helping to support small business  and ensuring the future success of our country’s family farms.
